There are four main methods for adjusting the discharge port of a jaw crusher, and the specific operation is as follows:
Gasket adjustment
Shutdown operation is required to increase or decrease the thickness of the gasket between the rear thrust plate support and the rear wall of the frame, and adjust the size of the discharge port by changing the position of the elbow plate. Suitable for large and medium-sized equipment, but the adjustment process takes about 2-3 hours.
Hydraulic cylinder adjustment
Replacing traditional screws with hydraulic cylinders and achieving stepless adjustment through hydraulic propulsion only takes a few minutes to operate, and can also achieve functions such as iron removal, but requires high maintenance.
Wedge adjustment
Divided into vertical and horizontal types, the thrust plate can be adjusted without stopping the machine by rotating the wedge block with bolts. It is suitable for small equipment, but it will increase the weight of the machine body.
Double wedge adjustment
Mechanical or hydraulic drive two opposing wedges to adjust the discharge port by changing the total thickness. Hydraulic type is the fastest and can automatically control the fineness of the product.
Suggestion: Check the discharge port once a month and adjust it promptly if any abnormal particle size is found. Hydraulic type has the highest efficiency, but gasket type has lower cost.
